Cochran’s Cafeteria started its operations in November 1997 under the name of “Pop’s Honey Fried Chicken. Cecil, the owner of Cochran’s, is well known in the Cedar Creek Lake area. In August 2009, Cecil decided to change the name to Cochran’s Cafeteria in memory of Mr. Cochran’s one man operation who started it in 1937.  Mr. Cochran strived to sell the purest native honey of East Texas and developed his business in honey. And so he did. There fore, the name of Cochran’s Cafeteria. We try to have the best chicken and catfish. We’re still building the concept to provide the best service for your whole family: dine, in, or carry-out. We strive to have always offer you the very best quality fresh vegetables we can find on the market.
